This page offers practical information about scheduling, insurance, contact lens orders, and what to expect, so you can arrive knowing exactly how our office works and how we can support your care.
Insurance & Payment Info
At Family Vision Care Optometry, we work with a variety of insurance and vision plans and can help you understand how your benefits apply to exams, medical visits, and eyewear. Before your appointment, our team can review your coverage and explain what is typically covered—whether it’s a routine vision check or a more comprehensive medical evaluation—so you have a clear sense of any expected out-of-pocket costs. Payment is collected at the time of service, and the practice does not offer in-house payment plans.
Appointment Cancellation Policy
At Family Vision Care Optometry, we understand circumstances can change, and we request patients notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows us to manage our schedule effectively and offer the time slot to another patient.
Patients that cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice or fail to show up for their appointment will be charged a rescheduling fee of $40. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring we can provide timely and efficient care for all our patients. Please note we will consider exceptions for unavoidable emergencies on a case-by-case basis.
